A little information for the reader…
Maja e Qorres is a high mountain peak located in southern Albania, the mountain has an altitude of 2018 meters and is the second highest peak of the Ceraunian Mountains, after Çika peak. What makes this mountain very special, is the fact that it is located near the Ionian Sea and the views of from the Maja e Qorres Mountain of this sea are stunning. At the highest point of this mountain, you will be rewarded with a superb view: wild mountains and heaven shorelines extending along the Ionian coast.
Tour Program:
Departure from Tirana at 06:30, to Llogara National Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Albania.
Stop on the way for coffee, the journey takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. There isn’t any water source during this hike, therefore we need to take around 2.5 litres of water.
Then, we start hiking. The height where we start hiking is 1005 meters.
The distance we will describe is about 5 km and 1000 meters of altitude.
The road and the peak is a very beautiful experience with a fabulous view where you can see the Ionian Sea, the Karaburun Peninsula, the City of Vlorë and the surrounding mountains.
