Weekend in Rugova Mountains
You have planned to spend a weekend in Rugova Mountain, Top Balkan Tours has thought for you, after you arrive in Peje and meet with the staff from Top Balkan Tours, we will escort you with a transfer only 13 km from the city of Peje you will be in the most frequented guesthouses in the area of Rugova, ‘’Chalet Kujta Tourist Resort’’ , where you will be accommodated there with a panoramic view of the mountains, with clean air and plenty of drinking water from the free spring.
You will have dinner on Friday at the private restaurant where the main foods are the traditional ones of the area such as: Fli, pies(byrek), peppers with hot cream, homemade cheese and yogurt, etc…
During your stay in the Chalet, it is possible on cold nights to light the fireplace, which is made of natural wood, making your stay as warm as possible!
The Saturday morning, which is served rich breakfast with home made flower tea, and with the view of that area make your day full of energy to do an easy walk, the area is located near where they pass international trails such as Peaks of the Balkans and Via Dinarica, a walk from 3 to 4 hours is ideal for a day and visiting the Deer Waterfalls(Ujevara Kaprollit), which is located in that village, with a well-known legendary history of that area!
After returning from the beautiful walk, a rich dinner awaits you in the restaurant!
